Description
A 2-channel relay board that lets an Arduino or other 5V controller switch two separate circuits on and off independently. Each relay handles up to 10A at 250VAC, jumpers set whether the inputs switch on with a high or low signal, and every input goes through an optocoupler.
Using a 3.3V board such as an ESP32 or Pico? This board needs a 5V supply; see the FAQ below, or use the 1-Channel 3.3V Relay Module for a single circuit.

What’s in the box
Assembled board with screw terminals fitted.
Great for
Wiring & getting started
-
Set the triggers
With power off, move each channel’s jumper to H to switch that relay on with a high signal, or to L to switch it on with a low signal.
-
Power and signal
Connect 5V DC to DC+ and DC-. Join DC- to your controller’s ground and connect one output pin to each IN terminal you use (IN1 and IN2). Power the board from a 5V rail that can run all the relays at once, not from a GPIO pin.
-
Test each channel
With nothing on the contacts, switch each input in turn. That relay should click and its indicator light, and its COM should connect to NO. When released, COM connects to NC.
-
Connect the loads
Turn everything off. Run each load circuit through its channel’s COM and NO to switch it on when triggered, or COM and NC to switch it off when triggered. Stay within the load limits on every channel.
Note: Mains voltage can kill. Only wire mains loads if you are competent to do so, fully enclose the board so no terminal or solder joint can be touched, and follow NZ electrical safety rules. Motors and lamps draw a surge at switch-on, so leave margin below the limits.
