Description
A beautiful vintage Chinese porcelain condiment or small serving bowl from Jingdezhen, decorated in a vibrant Famille Jaune style. The bright yellow ground is filled with stylised scrolling motifs and pink, green and white floral decoration, creating a wonderfully colourful little piece.
The iron-red base mark reads “China Jingdezhen” with “Made in China” beneath, a mark associated with later 20th-century Jingdezhen export porcelain. Likely dating to the late 1970s–early 1980s, the bowl is perfect for use as a condiment, dipping or trinket dish, or simply as a decorative piece.
