Brass frog on stained glass lilypad, window hanger with glass beads and crystals, a beautiful gift for frog and garden lovers

Description

This beautiful dark turquoise lily pad stained glass suncatcher features a cute little brass frog, embellished with solder dots, and finished with a vintage-look dark copper bronze patina and wax polish. This is my original freehand design.

It has iridescent glass beads up to the swivel, finishing with a looped cotton cord for easy hanging.

In direct sunlight, the glass will be brighter. A lovely gift for garden and frog lovers, or just for you to brighten any corner, inside or in a sheltered position outside.

Stained glass lily pad is 9.5cm at its widest

Tiny frog is 3.8 cm long

Total hanging length with thread 64 cm

This one of a kind suncatcher is hanging in my studio, ready to be shipped, it’s a finished piece and you will receive the exact item as pictured.

I love creating quirky, interesting, and one-of-a-kind pieces; all my work is handcrafted by myself in my home studio. I don’t use an electric cutter, preferring to stick as close as possible to the traditional Tiffany method; each piece of glass is hand-cut with a pencil cutter and pliers, then copper-foiled and soldered.

I've been working with stained glass for over 20 years and take great pride in my art. I always work to a professional standard and use only the highest quality materials. I have the most beautiful colours by handpicking every sheet of glass myself from a local Sydney supplier, and use recycled glass from old windows when I can.
