Black Wattle Bowl – smooth and easy to hold bowl for salads

Description

This is a bowl made of Black Wattle, from a suburban Canberran tree.

This is a great piece of Wattle from a log that a friend of mine gave me. It's a very consistent mid brown colour all the way through the wood, with the whiter sapwood showing on the sides. A few little holes on the side and rim show where some grubs passed through the wood make it unique and interesting.

This is a nice bowl for serving a small salad, or hot dinner rolls or jacket potatoes at the table. You could also use it to hold keys, wallets or jewellery on your dressing or hall table.

Finish: Osmo Oil Matte

This item is FOOD SAFE.

Dimensions:

Care instructions: Wipe with a damp cloth and then wipe down with macadamia nut oil (or other vegetable oil that doesn't go off).
